My particular interests are in ultrasonography, neurology, cardiology and surgery – particular minimally invasive (‘keyhole’) surgery. I am passionate about animal welfare issues and have volunteered at a number of welfare organisations overseas. Jason is an experienced surgeon and regularly performs TPLOs, medial patella luxation correction, brachycephalic obstructive syndrome surgery, anal gland removals, splenectomies, endoscopic assisted gastropexies, JPS procedures, complex lump removals and many more

Dr Meaghan has over 20 years of experience in the veterinary industry, with a career spanning shelter medicine, emergency and critical care, and then finding her love in general practice. She has been part of the team at Glen Iris and Armadale Veterinary Hospitals since 2013, where she is passionate about working closely with our wonderful clients and colleagues to achieve the best possible outcomes for their pets.

Meaghan has a strong interest in internal medicine, minimally invasive procedures including laparoscopic desexing (keyhole spays) and endoscopy, as well as dentistry and soft tissue surgery. She is committed to ongoing education and learning, and was awarded Membership into the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists (Medicine Chapter) in 2015 in recognition of knowledge and experience in this field, along with a Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice from the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (UK) in 2024.

I enjoy all aspects of veterinary medicine but I have a particular interest in surgery and plan to undertake my memberships in the years to come. I love meeting new clients and their fur babies and forming long lasting relationships that enable us to work together to provide the best ongoing care for all pets.

You may remember me from the reception and cattery team, I joined the Glen Iris Veterinary Hospital team in 2016 during my first year of vet school. Since then I have graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2019, undertaken a year-long internship and returned to the team at Glen Iris to continue my veterinary journey. I love the collaborative approach and high standard of care that we are able to offer at Glen Iris.At home, I have a spoilt domestic short hair called Nala. I look forward to meeting you and your pets.

After graduating from Sydney University in 2013 and taking a year off to satisfy a travelling itch, I settled into working in general practice around Kogarah and Belmore, Sydney. It was here I developed a passion for preventative medicine and all things surgery, completing Soft tissue and Orthopaedic surgical graduate courses through Massey University. I recently moved to Melbourne to complete a surgical Internship at MVSC, with a goal to sit my ANZCVSc membership examinations in the near future.

I love working with such a stellar team at Glen Iris, along with the high standard of care we can offer. The best part of the job is getting to know your pets and helping them live their best life.

When I’m not working I like spending time outdoors, either hiking, rock climbing or skiing.I look forward to meeting you and your fur babies!

My name is Ada, and I joined the Glen Iris and Armadale team at the beginning of 2026 as a new graduate veterinarian from The University of Melbourne. I enjoy all aspects of veterinary medicine but have a soft spot for small mammal companions (wheek!).

In my free time, you’ll find me in nature with my Fujifilm camera or at home working on my soft pastel pet portraits. I share my home with my partner and two cats, Pumpkin and Jiggy. I hope to meet you and your beloved pet to help them live their healthiest and happiest life.

Hello! I’m Jaime, I’ve been apart of the Glen Iris team since 2025. I graduated from James Cook University in 2024, I particularly enjoy medical cases and love to help people understand what may be happening with their pet, so we can get them back to feeling 100%.

I am from Queensland originally and moved to Melbourne to start my veterinary career, I have so far loved all the hiking and cafe spots around Victoria, but am always open to recommendations! I can’t wait to meet you and your pet!  

I joined the Glen Iris team back in 2018. Having grown up in South Africa, I am passionate about cats of all shapes and sizes, and working at the clinic has given me the opportunity to study and learn so much more about these fascinating creatures. Whilst my current role means I don’t get to interact with clients and patients as often as I’d like, my favourite part of my job is being able to sneak out back and cuddle a patient or two.

Hi I’m Sammie and I’m Practice Manager at Glen Iris Vet. I was lucky enough to join this amazing team late November 2020. I live with my baby girl Midnight a domestic short haired kitty, my boy Nelson a Jack Russell, my little Axolotl Franklin and my beautiful Stimpsons python May. The team at Glen Iris Vet are absolutely amazing and I’m so honoured to be apart of the Glen Iris family and spending my time with our beautiful patients and clients.

I began my veterinary nursing journey in 2016 after an incredible trip to South Africa, where I worked in lion conservation. Since then, I’ve gained experience across a variety of fields including general practice, reproduction, internal medicine, and oncology.

I have a strong passion for surgery and enjoy every aspect of hands-on nursing, especially being involved in case workups and patient care. At home, I share my life with two rescue cats: Billie Ruben and Bugs.

Hi my name is Aneira, but you can call me Nye! I come from a lovely little farming village in the North of England where my love for animals began. I grew up milking cows and tending to thousands of chickens with my friends. I moved to Melbourne with my family in 2016 and since then felt like I’ve had nothing but room to grow.

I was fortunate enough to be given the opportunity to join the team at Glen IrisVeterinary Hospital as a student in 2017 while I completed my Certificate 4 inVeterinary Nursing and have never looked back. Ever since I can remember I have had a passion to help and take care of sick and injured animals. I got into the veterinary industry by doing a volunteer program and instantly fell in love with it.

Hi, I’m Ella, and I’m one of the nurses at GIAVH. I got my Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing in 2023, before which I worked at GIAVH as a trainee.I appreciate getting to meet all the animals that come through our doors, but I do have a soft spot for our older patients.

Taking care of our pets as they navigate all the changes that come with aging is one of the things I really treasure about my job. That being said, is there anything better in this world than getting to cuddle a puppy or a kitten? I doubt it!

Hi, I’m Domenique (but feel free to call me Dom)! The amazing team at GIVH have recently taken me under their wing as a trainee veterinary nurse. After being in the journalism and marketing industry for almost 10 years, I realised that I didn’t feel like I was doing enough to help people and their pets despite working for a pet-focused charity. I’m incredibly excited to begin this rewarding career and assist people and pets in a whole new way.

My love for animals and for working alongside like-minded people has grown so much in such a short period of time. My job is both exciting and rewarding. Every day I get to work with intelligent and supportive individuals.

Hi! My name is Narissa. I am so grateful to have joined the Glen Iris team in 2023 as a trainee, starting my studying off with my Cert III in Animal studies to then go into my Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing.  My Career leading to this job first started at the age of 15 when I was employed at a pet shop, feeding and cleaning cages after school. I knew I wanted to pursue a career with animals and since moving to Melbourne I’m finally fulfilling that path again thanks to the Glen Iris team.

Hello my name is Claudia, I have wanted to work with animals since I was a little girl! After finishing high school I started studying zoology and first started my career with animals working as a zookeeper and I am now excited to start on a new journey soon of vet nursing.

I have always had a passion for animals and over the years it has grown stronger where I now know that being a Vet Nurse is what I want to do for the rest of my career.  I have volunteered at various shelters and rescues over the years first with dogs and more recently with rabbits.

I spend my free time going on outdoor adventures with my partner and our 2 year old Golden Retriever Maverick.  When we are not out and about we are at home enjoying the mischievous antics of our two rabbits Jet and Jemma. I look forward to welcoming all our clients and their pets while I spend my time at reception before starting my Cert IV in vet nursing.

My love for animals started from when I was a young girl, looking after the family’s turtles, hamsters, guinea pigs and dogs.
